Ysabeaux "Ysa" Ng is a Chinese-American screenwriter and director from the rolling hills of Eastern Washington. Ng recently graduated from the American Film Institute Conservatory with an MFA in Screenwriting and holds a BA in Media Arts Studies from Brigham Young University.

Now based out of Los Angeles, Ng specializes in family feature screenplays and live-action directing work. Ng's reel centers around intersectionality--a key theme in her work is that the highest form of love is born of contradicting truths. Her upcoming short film A FADED YELLOW won first place in the 2022 Mayhew Screenwriting Contest and will make its festival premiere in 2025. Ng's latest animated screenplay YEAR OF THE RAT was featured at the AFI Pitch Fest in September 2024. Her writer's portfolio is available upon request.
