Ysabeaux "Ysa" Ng is an Award-winning Los Angeles-based director, screenwriter, and AFI Conservatory graduate. She has worked as the Director's Assistant to Ang Lee and is developing a slate of narrative work, including the feature adaptation of her short film A Faded Yellow.

Her lens is focused on the collision between languages of love in conflicting belief systems, where relationships are ruptured by lack of moral imagination. Her work has been recognized by Final Draft's Big Break, the ISA Fast Track Fellowship, AFI Fest, and Cinequest, among others.

You can find her in the local city garden or on the next metro, sketching a storyboard and sipping milk tea as she appreciates a stranger's umpteenth tangent on the ways of the world.
